EXCELLERAT-2 is pleased to invite you to the first webinar in the “Opportunities of collaborations around HPC, HPDA, AI” series. This webinar will take place on March 2, from 11:00 to 12:00 CET.

 

This new webinar series, open to everyone, is launched in collaboration with the project’s technical partners and aims to showcase concrete experiences, best practices, and lessons learned for instance in collaboration with industry, while fostering exchanges across the community.

For this first session about “Interaction with Industry”, we will hear Claudio Domenico Arlandini and Simone Bna from CINECA, who will share their experience, key results, and practical insights gained through their interactions with industry.

 

Abstract

The talk provides a comprehensive overview of how CINECA bridges the gap between cutting-edge research and industrial requirements. The presentation explores CINECA’s role as an innovation ecosystem, leveraging High-Performance Computing (HPC) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to drive business transformation, with a specific focus on Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). Drawing on an extensive experience in technology transfer, the talk highlights key initiatives designed to foster industrial growth, like EXCELLERAT bringing CFD to exascale, EuroCC central to providing SMEs with practical access to HPC resources and the IT4LIA AI Factory and the MINERVA project that serve as critical hubs for advancing European AI research and its industrial integration.
