SOR’ is the premier scientific event in the field of Operations Research (OR). It provides an international forum for scientific exchange at the frontiers of Operations Research in the fields of mathematics, statistics, economics, engineering, education, environment, computer science, etc.
Since Operations Research encompasses a variety of mathematical, statistical and computer science theories and methods for analysing complex situations and contributes to responsible decision making, planning and efficient use of resources, it is believed that in a world of increasing complexity and scarce natural resources, there will be a growing need for such approaches in many areas of our society.
As the need for exascale computing grows, we endeavour to stay in touch with all stakeholders also through this event.
