Description
The processing of big data from large-scale CFD simulations is a challenging task. Due to existing limitations in the data I/O system, in-situ analyses have recently gained in importance as an alternative to offline data post-processing. Furthermore, the extraction of physical and engineering knowledge from highly-resolved simulations leads to a need for new data-driven algorithms. The ‘In-Situ Data Analysis Toolbox’ provides a prototyping environment in python for the development and evaluation of new data-driven and in-situ algorithms.
